Our mission is to celebrate Hudson County’s basketball heritage and strengthen the community by:
Organizing youth tournaments
Offering free camps and clinics
Training young officials through the Junior IAABO Program
Connecting basketball legends with aspiring athletes
Providing scholarships
Through these efforts, we honor the sport’s legacy while fostering leadership, mentorship, and service.

Tom Kearney is a Jersey City native and an avid fan of Hudson County basketball. The son of John Kearney (St. Peter’s Prep ’59 and St. Peter’s College ’65), Tom grew up hearing stories and learning about the legends of Hudson County basketball. His son Daniel is currently the manager of the Ramapo College men’s basketball team working under the tutelage of Hudson County Basketball legend Chuck McBreen. A member of the Bergen Catholic Hall of Fame, Tom worked for 28 years in law enforcement as a county and federal prosecutor. Tom currently works for the general practice law firm Hartmann Doherty Rosa Berman & Bulbulia located in Hackensack where he handles all forms of litigation.
